For Our Elders - Landcare NAIDOC Webinar

Blog | 19 Jul 2023 |
In celebration of 2023 NAIDOC Week, the National Landcare Network hosted an online yarn 'For Our Elders' facilitated by Landcare South Australia's Natalie Sommerville.

Natalie was joined by Elders from across the National Landcare Network who shared their stories of connection to Country, Culture, Community and Landcare. Watch the full webinar below:

Landcare strives to walk together with First Nations Custodians respecting cultural knowledge, skills, and responsibilities in land and sea management and their role in leading the planning and Caring for Country and community across Australia. These lands were never ceded.

Across the Landcare network, we acknowledge the generosity of the many Elders who give their time, cultural guidance, and share their knowledge. We look to their guidance as we find ways to walk together into the future.
