Statement of Common Purpose - NRM and Landcare
The Chairman of the National Landcare Network, representing Community Landcare throughout Australia announced today that on Friday 20/4/12 at the NRM Chairs meeting in Adelaide the following occurred:
"I am pleased to report that the Statement of Common Purpose between the National Landcare Network and the National NRM Regions Working Group was signed by Sarah Ryan on behalf of National NRM Regions Working Group, and myself on behalf of NLN on Friday, at the NNRMR Chairs Forum in Adelaide.
This site will be unattended during May as the Chairman is overseas

South Australian NRM Community Grants 2012-13 open for applications
The Natural Resources Management Community Grants for 2012-13 are now open.
The Minister for Sustainability, Environment and Conservation, Paul Caica, has announced $2 million in grants to support community groups undertake projects to protect natural resources in their local area.
Riverland West Landcare
Riverland West Landcare formerly the Riverland West LAP is building on its decision to "rebrand" the group and show a stronger link with the Landcare movement by using the name and logo.
Recent media articles show that this successful project is progressive and supporting the Riverland community.
