The Australian Government is accepting applications for Round Two of the Biodiversity Fund. The deadline for full applications for grants less than $1 million has been extended to 2pm AEST, 17 April 2013.
The Hornsby Shire Bushcare Network consists community volunteers working with Hornsby Shire Council to conserve and rehabilitate publicly owned natural bushland. Bushcare volunteers range from 15 to 90 years, and come from all walks of life.

Registrations have open for the 2013 Landcare and Catchment Management Forum which will be held 3-5 September 2013 in Newcastle.
Caring for our Country is offering grants between $5,000 and $50,000 as part of the Community Landcare Grant program. Community Landcare Grants build on the success of the earlier Community Action Grants initiative, with a renewed focus on sustainable farming and fisheries, agricultural innovation and community capacity building
The In Safe Hands tool kit is an Occupational Health and Safety tool kit for conservation volunteers. It is now available on line at the Conservation Volunteers Australia's (CVA) website.
The Federal Government is offering grants between $50,000 and $2 million under the Caring for our Country Target Area Grants.
